The Rebel Alliance is in Sight, Sir.

At last, outside the snow is gently falling and inside its the day after the day after.

Game on!
What the Canadians can see.
Metis and Cree. Well, what rebels did you think I meant?

What we can see.
Having made the decision to resurrect my 54mm Britain's I need to decide some little details like rules and organization. There is little point in doing a taller version of an Atlantica game but neither I nor my smaller table  are really up for full 54mm MacDuff or TS&TF games. While not thinking about it today, I suddenly remembered my "Battle Cree" post from 2012. Perfect!

So, squares rather than hexes, cards & dice from the BattleCry game and  Colonial variant rules that Ron and I use, with Metis & Cree troop type added.

Let's see how it goes.

Hmm, half an hour later........
or maybe an older version of the Square Brigadier... Ah yes.

    Looking forward to the games.
BTW the books you recommended are an excellent read.

  2. Very nice, very nice. The color combination of the British red coats + the green fields is very Christmas-y.

    Best regards,

    Chris

  4. Nice to see 54mm figures on the table - one of my projects this year is to use mine in combat on the table , Tony

  5. I'm trying to imagine what a Canadian Victorian Death Star would look like. Fort Henry in space, perhaps, with really big cannons.
    Looks great.

    1. Hmm, I picture an Ironclad with huge guns. Wouldn't float on the Saskatchewan though so maybe an ironclad monitor.
