I am slowing coming to see that as an error. The higher of the chain you go, the more things should average out since the times frames tend to be longer and the distances moved tend to be out of whack with theoretical time frames anyway. A subordinate might be slow getting off the mark but once they start moving, the rate over 20 minutes is fairly predictable unless there is a issue such as enemy involvement or terrain (which it is the general's job to seek knowledge of in advance) and whether the troops arrive at their destination in 15 minutes or 21 minutes shouldn't be the issue. Given the greater discipline and subordination of Horse and Musket armies, the unexplained randomness of things should be even less, so yes I have already started reworking the Horse and Musket rules. They'll stay for skirmish games and for the 16thC.Ross Mac rmacfa@gmail.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04053555991679802013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2839601747923375105.post-53334755017797910502011-08-17T09:22:17.724-03:002011-08-17T09:22:17.724-03:00Thank you gentlemen for the kind words.Thank you gentlemen for the kind words.Ross Mac rmacfa@gmail.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04053555991679802013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2839601747923375105.post-42583616933144532382011-08-17T08:58:11.196-03:002011-08-17T08:58:11.196-03:00Ross,

She was busily typing on her laptop when my schnoodle (schnauzer+poodle mix) suddenly jumped up and laid down on her keyboard--just wanted to be part of the action, I guess. I thought it was rather amusing, although I'm not sure she felt the same!

Best regards,

ChrisChrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05091296131481416326noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2839601747923375105.post-23087835306708702732011-08-16T21:30:54.358-03:002011-08-16T21:30:54.358-03:00Excellent report and discussion behind the thinkin...Excellent report and discussion behind the thinking that went into the rules.Shaun Travershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05691522858410783769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2839601747923375105.post-36575958671188418322011-08-16T19:18:18.639-03:002011-08-16T19:18:18.639-03:00Excellent, especially with the titan feline!!Excellent, especially with the titan feline!!Montyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06230149195753516430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2839601747923375105.post-84828478633272879732011-08-16T16:01:49.703-03:002011-08-16T16:01:49.703-03:00Liking it !.Liking it !.Mosstrooperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08744308664219116701noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2839601747923375105.post-3209902670713846312011-08-16T15:16:13.592-03:002011-08-16T15:16:13.592-03:00Cracking looking battle.
