I can say Rough Wooing won't be changing anytime soon.Ross Mac rmacfa@gmail.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04053555991679802013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2839601747923375105.post-9529959592847314212010-10-12T18:04:56.071-03:002010-10-12T18:04:56.071-03:00Hi Ross,

Then I re-read A Gathering of Hosts, and I was wondering... if your HofT playtests go well, will you revise AGoH along the same lines?

Just curious.
Regards,
JohnThe Ferrymenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07741552972862333515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2839601747923375105.post-53458909424702593362010-10-11T21:18:59.481-03:002010-10-11T21:18:59.481-03:00Oh, and those are my lads in the pictures.Oh, and those are my lads in the pictures.Lentulushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07748125314815303831noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2839601747923375105.post-59092730634455796992010-10-11T21:18:23.995-03:002010-10-11T21:18:23.995-03:00Well, my own solo game is going swimmingly. Two turns of movement for the whole vast host, and even rolling 4 for a 3d6 move has not left me as frustrated as having the whole advance guard vacate the battlefield on turn 1.

With over 40 3-stand units on the table, maneuver at least is fast and satisfying.Lentulushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07748125314815303831noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2839601747923375105.post-28835433674793250942010-10-11T18:02:48.748-03:002010-10-11T18:02:48.748-03:00Hi Ross,

We aren't talking turn by turn written orders here btw. Previous control checks were almost redundant with variable moves bit after 25 years I've had a hard time letting go of them.(despite finding them frustrating at times)

For. Solo games I usually play 1 side straight up and use a combination of role playing and dived for decisions for the other side. Eg if I am unsure of the best option I might decide that there is 1/3 chance of attacking in this situation so roll 1,2 the brigade attacks, 3-6 they hold. Etc.Ross Mac rmacfa@gmail.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04053555991679802013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2839601747923375105.post-87156731055137319862010-10-11T13:11:30.875-03:002010-10-11T13:11:30.875-03:00Hi Ross,
