I'm taking some 1/72nd scale IMEX with me on my "adventure" and I'm hoping they (and their various paints and adhesives) won't suffer from the heat. I'm going to order a Cigar Box Mat, I think, once I'm on station and try an ACW campaign a la One Hour Wargames. I think your project has nudged me that way. It beats endless revisions of PowerPoint slides and spreadsheets no one cares about anyway.

Eric
Eric Turnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16492023229015462408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2839601747923375105.post-74250347240760470372021-04-27T11:36:20.876-03:002021-04-27T11:36:20.876-03:00Ross, I like the photos, particularly the first on...Ross, I like the photos, particularly the first one. Remember ACW wargaming with friends in the early 1970s, and we used 20mm Airfix figures. I do think the period looks right in that scale, or it could be nostalgia.
MichaelMGBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00063536309395034188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2839601747923375105.post-30919436239280794962021-04-26T22:38:00.091-03:002021-04-26T22:38:00.091-03:00Count me in a possible test subject.

The guns are a tick too wide to fit 2 in a hex so I'm going to either shave them or rebase them since there are too many and several need new crews etc or are on temporary bases anyway. The limbers have been looking for a job so most aren't based yet but I'm working on something to have them be more than decorative.
