I played DBA when it was new and occasionally since but this was my first Hott. The differences (apart from the fantasy side) are small but the game seems somehow less rigid.

Anyway, I have some straggling 25mm Medieval figures and a few not quite historical personalities left over from long ago so I am thinking of setting up opposing forces so that they can all "have a home", another "game in a box" to provide a break and allow me to paint a few fantasy figures now and then without worrying about getting sucked into building a set of "real" armies.Ross Mac rmacfa@gmail.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04053555991679802013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2839601747923375105.post-19916462379789735262011-08-30T21:42:50.614-03:002011-08-30T21:42:50.614-03:00You were more than welcome Ross. I didn't actually much care for DBA when it first came out, but liked Hordes immediately. Familiarity with Hordes eventually translated into more appreciation for DBA...Rob Deanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01705547374834785174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2839601747923375105.post-37225868406994694802011-08-30T17:18:08.715-03:002011-08-30T17:18:08.715-03:00You'd never played HotT before? :oYou'd never played HotT before? :oNorman Deanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07618060402986281074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2839601747923375105.post-81012301716318476392011-08-30T17:11:34.921-03:002011-08-30T17:11:34.921-03:00Sounds like you had a great weekend.
