We don't actually have a copy of the rules yet, or the cards but we have the internet, ingenuity and lots of experience. We also had fun.
More tomorrow.

| These aren't actually Airfix tanks. |
Born and raised in the suburbs of Montreal 7 decades ago. Began playing with toy soldiers at 5 years. Started painting & converting at about 12 yrs and wargaming about 15 yrs. Never really stopped.
5 years in the Black Watch of Canada Cadets, 5 years at the Collège militaire royal de Saint-Jean followed by 4 in the navy. 25 years with CPC in IT simultaneous with 23 years running a boarding kennel. Inherited my love of toy soldiers from my mother's father. Married with a pack of litle Italian Greyhounds and a cat. Prematurely retired and enjoying leisure to game, maintaining our 170 yr old farmhouse and just living.
Consider me incuriated.

DeletePSC Shermans?
ReplyDeleteForces of Valour if memory serves. (Not mine)
DeleteThose aren't the Airfix tanks you were looking for....
ReplyDeleteAre you doing WWII? If so, what rules set are you going to use?
Jerry
Ron and I dabble in WWII periodically using his figures (a number of them painted by me). We have been playing variations of Memoir but are looking at switching to the new Airfix battles adapted to hexes.
DeleteRoss Mac,
ReplyDeleteIt looks remarkably like AIRFIX BATTLES being played on hexes ... which is something I am thinking about doing myself.
Have you got a copy of the rules? They were available online as a PDF, but I'm not sure if they still are.
All the best,
Bob
We don't exactly have the rules yet as the next post will explain but as the next post will discuss we cobbled together a sampler and at this point I'm ready to buy the rules and cards when they are released separately. I don't need the cardboard counters or maps or box cut I suspect Ron will be ordering when available over here.
