EXCERPT FROM APPENDIX 1 from Don Featherstone's Battles With Model Soldiers
(The book that got me started.)

"Nothing in these pages is a dictate, no word says you must or you shall do it this way. On the contrary, the book sets out from the very beginning to stimulate the reader to think for himself, and to use what he has read merely as a foundation for efforts and ideas which reflect his own temperament and character. Only in this way will he obtain maximum satisfaction from the hobby of battling with model soldiers."

Spring in the Valley

At last!  There is strong hope for a solo game this weekend.

Scenario 3 in Grant"s Programmed Scenarios.

But I'm over due for bed. More tomorrow.

  1. With all this Airfix Ross, you are really spoiling us!

[lost on anyone who doesn't get Ferrero TV adds!]

  2. Is that brigadier Kinch I see before me?

    1. Indeed, almost my only pipe smoking commander.

  3. Very nice! Is it my eyes or is that general smoking a pipe?
    Nice touch!
