Aux Armes!

On a fall morning on Belmont Island, the mists began to clear.   An alert sentinel spotted a flotilla of boats rowing hard towards the shore

  1. Belmont seemsto have a varied history. Not the quiet village I was looking for.

  2. Interesting. Have been reading the Helion collection of essays on British Amphibious Wafare, 1739-1815 and am tempted to get some boats.

    1. The 2 bigger boats were modified from tourist gift shop traditional fishing boats , the little one was made from thin cardboard. More 'ships: have been adapted from repro plastic toy pirate ships.
