Viewer's Choice Celebration MiniCampaign

It has now been over 20 years since I launched "With MacDuff On the Web" and nearly 10 years since I launched my 2 blogs: Gathering of Hosts and Battle game of the Month.

To celebrate the years and the friends and the million hits I've decided to run a 3 game mini-campaign in late October and I'm asking YOU to help choose the period. It has to be something from my current list but please comment on any post from Sep 12 till Oct 1 or email me : rmacfa@gmail.com . and to let me know your preference and any suggestions on the mini campaign.

The polls are now open!

While I wasn't blogging

Its summer! The weather is beautiful and the Toodoo list long, from lawn and garden to keeping SWMBO company on our grassy patio equivalent from time to time. All this has reduced but not entirely replaced my hobby and blogging time.

In Kyuquat (see map), a scratch force musters to oppose an impending invasion by the Red Queen. Brethren of the Coast allies provide 4 stands of skirmishers, 4 stands of massed infantry and a battery  under the Black Fox. Foreign Volunteers provide a full 4 stand regiment of infantry plus a mountain gun (most still wearing various old Oberhilse uniforms...that's gonna be an issue I think).  Finally there is a wing of actual Kyuquat Infantry. Its not much but it will have to do for now.
(Hexes? What hexes?, You mean these old things? )

Reduced time means choices so I chose to spend my hobby time on the wee troops rather than blogging. In particular I chose to paint, refurbish, reorganize, and rebase in preparation for the opening shots of the rapidly approaching 1st Farawayo-Kyuquat War.

The right wing of the Wolf Regiment still in training.
Stay tuned.

  1. We have rain here in the NW UK , been waiting a week for the back hedge to dry out so I can cut it - on the plus side getting lots painted

    1. If you could persuade some of that rain to slide across the Atlantic I would be grateful. Just need enough to water the garden and keep the well flowing.

  2. The Wolf Regiment look very smart - I really like their Standard.

    1. Thanks, I'm rather pleased with how the flag came out. Didn't want it to look toooo European.

  4. Fine weather and outside tasks always impact the hobby time. It is surprising how much of that precious hobby time can get leeched away with blogging.
