How is it that every year I seem to forget how much work goes into preparing even a simple convention game if it's about to make its public debut.
"Get a move on it! Dress rehearsal for Friday's game on, well, Friday!" |
But then, my home games get improved once those gotta get "around to it" things get done.
(Don't worry, its a Newfoundland t'ing,)
ooooohhhhh, a siege game! That looks splendid.
ReplyDeleteWell, sort of. It'll be a "1950's movie" version of Hadrian's wall
DeleteRound Tuits are a Maine t'ing too... I seem to have the same challenge. My Historicon game has changed twice. Hopefully, the one I'm working on sticks. Looking forward to seeing how your game here plays out. (or oot, that's an Ontario thang)
ReplyDeleteA Maine thing too, interesting.
DeleteI've heard about round tuits on the west coast, too (North America). :)
ReplyDeleteMust be relocated East coasters
Deletep.s. still don't know where to get one, though.
ReplyDeleteProbably just as well...
DeleteSuch a spectacular in the making…
ReplyDeleteAlan Tradgardland
One hopes!
DeleteWonderful inspiring picture Ross!
ReplyDeleteTuit??
Rhymes with "to it" as in get around to it
DeleteA former colleague of mine proudly displayed a Round Tuit coaster on his desk. He was a Scot but had travelled in the US and Canada, so who knows?
ReplyDeleteCoasters and wall plaques are popular tourist items.
DeleteSpring us in the air and toy soldiers are mustering for conventions. 'Tis the season!
ReplyDeleteAmen
