Ah, I had one of those, it didn't help when I would predict his throw of 1 at critical moments and it would happen. Had to give that up and we adopted dice cups, Didn't help.
My own default dice roll probably averages out as about 1.5... it's probably in that area for my son Steven as well. Dice rolls are not a strong point in my family.
That’s a good rule of thumb!
