Volunteers are Pouring in.

Literally being poured in, from molten recruit to uni-formed soldier in no time at all.

Homecast copy of restored Britain's figure.
I chopped down a spare Ft Henry Guard shako to make a kepi.

Tomorrow, the officer hits the rubber.

    1. hmm can't see anything here except that I removed another of obsolete entries and that most of what is left is also out of date. Really do need to spend some time tidying up pages in general and rules in particular.

However, I don't see any reason that you can't bring up the page. Do get an error?
The actual page address is: http://gameofmonth.blogspot.com/p/a-list-of-links-to-various-rule-sets.html

  3. Beautiful casting. I have a recent shiny old style Britains Fort Henry mascot handler that is in this style.

    1. I've seen pictures of that set, very nice.

My goat that came in the original set didn't have a handler and it would seem a bit of an insult to give him one after 50 years of service.

    1. Yes, etc. Mostly I arrive on a stock of casting metal I bought in 2005, equivalent to the standard PA metal not the wonderful model metal.

However, I do supplement it my supply with recycled figures.

  5. Raw recruits - soon to be licked into shape. nice to see theses sort of shots, which surprisingly don't crop up that often in the blog world.

    1. Homecasting is a big enough hobby to notice but homecasting wargamers are comparatively rare, ones who make their own masters and moulds are even rarer.

    1. We have an old sun (sic) porch attached to the house and I have a small workshop set up in it. Much better than the woodshed which I used to use.
