To be honest I was tempted to paint over the factory paint but when I was a young fellow with a toy gun, I had my cousin's red beret from his time with the parachute company of the Queen's Own Rifles so I kept them. The parachute companies prime role was to drop into the arctic as an advance guard in case our neighbour across the pole came calling without an invitation and I presume that up there, red was no more noticeable than green.
Nice forecast!
ReplyDeleteTurned out to be Partly Soldiery.

ReplyDeleteBright red berets. Perfect camouflage for an ambush! Even better for not losing them in the long grass. :-)
