Now It Begins

The game is set, ye old clash of advance guards at a crossroads.

The opposing armies begin to deploy and jockey for position.

More to follow!

  1. Nice looking tbltop if one does say so. (And one does.)

  2. And so do I! The combination of the individual soldiers and the 'old school' stepped hills looks very attractive, reminiscent of Wells's Little Wars. Although I use much smaller figures, that is the effect I would like to create for my games - but on the much smaller table that fits in my study.

Did those guardsmen deliberately destroy the roof of that cottage to improve their field of fire, or do they claim it was like that already?

    1. No no. They carefully undo the roofs and put them aside then replace them when the battles over. Don't want public complaints!

  3. Looking good, Ross. Hope the game plays out well. Avidly awaiting the morning, er, electronic, papers to see the outcome.
