Is Lost. Yeah, ummh, sorry folks, no Noodle, no battle report.
However, after hours of revisiting 8 years of Square Brigadier posts and rules versions and some experimentation, things are rolling again.
A slight variation on 'Sawmill Village'.
Sunday is forecast to be another storm day, freezing rain this time, so, my board is reset with the 5" Grid cloth, and the revised rules are typed up. All is ready.
My wife likes snow. Never been able to work out why. But then, she's from further south than me and never had to get out of the house by climbing through a window or walked to school over the top of a tree...
But yes - if it allows for more painting or gaming time I can see that, possibly, snow may have a 'good' side.
I have vague remembrances from decades ago of strapping sticks on my feet and gliding through the silent woods but now an excuse to be idle is as good as it gets.
Staying tuned for a stormy day fun.
ReplyDeleteOK so, no pressure then...
DeleteStay tuned I will!
ReplyDeleteWorking on...something
DeleteThank goodness for stormy, freezing, rainy 'staying in days' :-)
ReplyDeleteAmen
DeleteRolling, rolling, rolling seems to be in my head from a film/ tv programme of my youth...
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the battle report.

DeleteYeah, not looking forward to today's weather.
ReplyDeleteMy wife always assumes it'll be worse than forecast while I assume it won't be as bad. One of us is usually right.
DeleteLooking forward to reading your follow-on blog post.
ReplyDeleteAll the best,
Bob
Working on it Bob.
