One stand is done and the other is nearly ready.
Theodora is mounted on an individual stand in case I need her to do double duty should I decide to do some 25mm skirmish games. |
Mind you, with a forecast for a 3 day storm that includes winds of 90kph or more and in excess of 100-150mm of rain, which around here probably means a loss of power at some point, I can't guarantee just when the game will be played and blogged.
(Don't worry we are always ready to see out any weather for several weeks.)
As Freddy Prinze used to say on _Chico And The Man_; "Loooooog-ing! Goooood!..."
ReplyDeleteI'll take your word for it, whoever Freddy is.
DeleteHerself came out very well! Wasn't paying attention to the blast headed our way until I saw your description of the impending storm. Here in coastal Northern New England where I am we often share your weather, albeit sometimes, as in this case it, ours is one order of magnitude less nasty than what moves up your way.
ReplyDeleteand we apperciate it when you don't share too much of your snow with us.
DeleteThis one seems to be drifting even farther north & east but all our hatches are battened anyway.
Looks like it's the coast that will catch the worst of it. We've gathered up all the loose yardage, and will stock up on water.
DeleteYup, the current forecast isn't bad at all but I've gotten more cautious than I one was so we're ready for whatever comes.
DeleteSuperb, long live Theodora !
ReplyDeleteThanks, on her behalf.
DeleteCertainly a lady who looks as though she means business.
ReplyDeleteSomething to prove perhaps?
DeleteNice painting there Ross- good to get these single figures squared away. Cheers. KEV.
ReplyDeleteYes, I'd almost forgotten she was in the closet.
Delete"Looking good" was my thought as well.
ReplyDeleteJust don't say it out loud within her hearing.....
