Scenario Two Develops and I Try a Video Clip

Today I started working on the design of the second scenario.

Part way through, my new tripod arrived! So I decided that a quick test of tripod and fairly new phone was required.

No, don't worry, I'm not planning to quit my dayjob.

Now to play test the scenario and schedule the two GM training games.

    1. Its an annoying piece of c**p Samsung too-smart-pain=in the-a$$ phone but it's got a pretty decent camera and it gets phone signals even in the hollow we live in so I've got a truce with it.

    1. I hadn't considered it but I doubt it. I should check what would be involved.

  4. Ross, the video works fine and it makes a nice job of your table in terms of sharpness and colour richness and probably depth of field. I think short clips like this have a useful place in blogs.

    1. By the way, your opening picture is absolutely superb and would be the ideal sort of thing to grace a rulebook.

    1. I've done one on one video and I've done live multiplayer with gm but it will indeed be interesting.

  9. That's a useful overview of the table Ross and a good first outing for the tripod. Perhaps pan a little slower next time though?
I take it from your answer to Jonathan above that you are in love with your phone? ha,ha,ha,ha!!!

    1. Thanks. I did a me and myself video call today and was disappointed to see that the picture was a little degraded and zooming was blocked. But yes slower is a good idea.

    1. No promises but I wouldn't be surprised if there are more. I also expect to be canvassing for players for remote games over video chat in the future. Gotta keep moving with the times or rust!
