Tramp, tramp, tramp the boys are marching.
The Rebs have stolen a march on the Yankees and seized a bridge over the Lil'Phoam River. |
Thank you all for your condolences.
Since my friend John had been an avid Civil War reenactor as well as a wargamer, I decided I should get the boys in Blue and Grey out for a game in his honour.
Very appropriate choice of game, looking forward to seeing it play out…
ReplyDeleteHopefully it will be what it should.
DeleteWhat a great way to remember a fellow wargamer.
ReplyDeleteGetting to frquent these days!
DeleteA fitting tribute .
ReplyDeleteI hope it is!
DeleteRoss, I concur with the others. As I am also a Civil War re-enactor, I think that's a splendid idea.
ReplyDeleteEric
I just hope that Homeric funeral games for fallen comrades doesn't become a regular feature!
DeleteMarching to the sound of the guns. Fitting way to be remembered.
