There'll be a short delay....

Sunshine! Warm(ish) sunshine and....... a longggggg  list of outside chores to be done. Not to mention some tweaking and testing of the Square Brigadier into just the right size and shape for my 54's in the age of breach loading rifles.

Might be a few days before I can post anything like a proper battle report but hopefully I can slip in some tidbits.

  2. Know the feeling. Finishing touches still being added to the pond, noticed I've taken my eye off the brambles... so one job nearly finished to be replaced by another job...

  3. Having just survived a 12 round, heavyweight bout with reorganizing and clearing out the garage, I can relate. Thankfully, our lead legions are timeless and stand-to ready to pick up wherever we left them.

  5. I moved into an apartment in the city about two years ago. One of the things I don't miss about being in a house is outside chores. Good luck!

    1. well said, John Y.
Yard work is like communism. Seems like a great idear at the time; everyone can pitch in....in theory; it's fun.......for 5 minutes; eventually, it seems like you're right back where you started.

    2. Inside, outside, chores are just part of the fabric of being retired in an old farmhouse.
