In other news, the attack on the wood shed by the Wild Cherry tree has been repulsed with the attacker being cut to pieces.

"eek!" That sounds maybe worse than being taken behind the woodshed and paddled to within an inch of their life!

    Nice photo.
I almost always overlook carefully placing the "smoke" before the woodcutting for Harper's Weekly.

  2. Wild cherry can be vicious. Come to think of it, plums aren't all that nice either.

    1. Ours needs a little training in how to grow plums within reach of my ladder but other than that its a quiet, peaceful tree.

    1. If I'm smelling the smoke from the woodstove, I have a problem! Hopefully the chimney will appreciate it.

  5. A tangent version of being taken to the woodshed--being repulsed from the woodshed, but still takin' a whoopin'.
