A Battle In Slow Motion

Yep, one of those summer weeks, too many tasks, errands, duties, naps, books etc.....

Several days and two turns later....

I still have a week to get ready. If I don't manage to finish a succesful play test of scenario and rules, I'll just throw a bunch of figures and terrain in the car and haul out an old reliable scenario on the day.

  1. The Dog Days of Summer are upon us. Well, in the Northern Hemisphere, anyway!

You’re currently making better progress than I am!

    All the best,

    1. Oh I don't know, I'm merely trying to devise an enjoyable afternon with a group of old friends.

  4. Looks great anyway. I'm sure you'd be able to run a successful game in your sleep Ross.

    1. My best ones have been somewhere in the middle between asleep and serious.

  5. Sounds like a win:win. Make good use of the archive of games that you've compiled.

  6. Looks good!
I'm just feeling too hot to do much.

  7. As a gaming period, the ACW doesn't appeal to me (not really sure why), but I have to say, that table has me rethinking my stance. Looks great! Also, the fact that you can leave a game set up for several days is mind boggling. Between pets and an almost 11 year old, nothing stays undisturbed here.

    1. It is a blessing, there were years when it was the kitchen table for an hour or so if if I was lucky but there is nothing like a hobby den. Her Highness does occasionally upset a few bits when she wanders across to check up on what I've been doing, especially if there's a game in progress but she doesn't do any harm.
