After weeks of dodging the hype, I made the mistake of turning on the TV this morning. I fear I am in danger of becoming sentimental in my middle age! But, best wishes to the Kate and William.
Been watching the wedding in between laying a patio in the garden , thanks for your kind comments on my blog , still learning blogging so all comments are welcome . Cheers Tony
Personally I feel there should be at least one "Royalty? Bah!" from an ex-colonial. OK, from an anarchist. But I sincerely wish well any couple with enough gumption to brave matrimony. When they come by for a visit, the first round's on me. Cheers!
Hmmm well, I'll confess that I have my doubts on the appropriateness of watery tarts distributing swords as a system for choosing governments though I did once swear allegiance to the happy groom's father's mother. Still nothing like young love eh? esp when backed up by bearskins and cuirassiers.
I'll second the best wishes..
