Elegant and splendid, great job!
ReplyDeleteMerci Phil.
DeleteWhat Phil said.. he's very martial!
ReplyDeleteHe has a reputation to make!
Delete"Countless more to go" but well worth the effort!
ReplyDeleteI hope so!
DeleteVery smart chap - well done !
ReplyDeleteThanks. Felt good to 'get back at it'.
DeleteHe's a little (or big) beauty Ross. 40mm?
ReplyDeleteLittle guy, 40mm. OK mefium sized guy.
DeleteGood start. If I hadn't been 'distracted' by Napoleonics I had intended to do 7YW armies this year myself.
ReplyDeleteMy 15mm French Rev collection was probably the largest of any I've painted and I swore I wouldn't replace them in 40mm. Oh well.
DeleteHe looks wonderful Ross. Even more pleasing to have cast him yourself. We'll look forward to seeing more of those below (and mates yet to come) in 'living colour'!
ReplyDeleteThank you James. Conversions are always fun and casting figures that I've sculpted myself is most enjoyable when it works but casting from commercial moulds is usually about convenience and economy although sometimes its just because I like the sculpting on a particular range. Lots of conversions ahead for this upcoming game, including a few of my own bits.
