Recalled To Life

Alright, the return of my Baker's cyst was a bit more of an obstacle than I remembered, but I'm regaining mobility and today have played 2 turns.

Yikes! That bloody 4 pdr was more deadly than expected!
(Loaded with 6's?)

To be continued, SOON!

  1. Glad to hear you are on the mend, nasty thing, a workmate of mine suffers from the same thing and it knocks him for six when it flares up, not too often thankfully! Great looking table, poor Redcoats running straight down the throat of the cannon fire!

    1. I'm not sure what's going to happen but it's good to having something happening.

  4. Ross Mac,

Sorry to read about your knee problems, especially as my own are giving me such trouble at the moment. I hope you recover your full mobility over the next few days and can continue fighting your very interesting wargame.

    All the best,

    Bob

    1. Thanks Bob. It's not much compared to what you've been going through, and I have a good example to follow.

  5. Good to hear you are on the mend…
An entertaining looking game… straight up the road into the teeth of a gun behind a barricade… what could possibly go wrong…😁

    All the best. Aly

  6. Glad to see you're returning to action but please don't push it too much. My experience of getting old is that healing slows down.

    1. Thanks Brian. I was a wimp as a kid but I'm becoming tougher as well as smarter as the decades go by. More stewing beef than tenderloin.
