Since the r
epulse of the Oerberg Expedition in August, the southern border of the Kapelle Territory has been uneasy.
|
All is quiet as the armoured train begins its daily patrol. |
The town called Missisjones is an important mining centre in the hills of southern Kapelle, not far from the border with Oerberg. A garrison has been left to hold the town and patrol the border. So far all has been quiet but no one believes that the quiet will last forever.

Meanwhile, in the surrounding hills........ |
Good to see the train in action!
ReplyDeleteIt is, esp after the pain of chopping up a very pretty toy train to make it fit my small table!
DeleteRoss Mac,
ReplyDeleteJust the sort of scenario I've been want to read about for some time. I look forward to reading your battle report.
All the best,
Bob
I'm afraid there will be a slight delay. Hopefully it'll be ready for your Monday morning coffee.
DeleteThe train looks great. The ploughed fields are they just painted or do they have a textured effect to them? The other photo is filled with promises of excitement to come.
ReplyDeleteThey are just painted. In retrospect I should have painted them on separate bits of cloth so I could move or remove them when they are in an awkward place or inappropriate setting. Still, they aren't hard to hide when needed.
DeleteIs this a raid...or is it the advance guard of a more substantial effort?
ReplyDeleteIts hard to tell.
DeleteI like your train ;)
ReplyDeleteWho doesn't like a little toy train?
DeleteHave to agree with the Gentlemen above, lovely to see a train and a fine looking game to come. Missisjones, great name - there's definitely a thing going on.
ReplyDeleteIndeed. (Thought it might be a bit too obvious but sounded good enough for me)
Delete(Smith, Jones etc)
DeleteThere wouldn't happen to be a Mr Churchillian in the train would there?
ReplyDeleteIf there is he didn't report his presence to me. Its an idea though.
DeleteCool stuff. I too am quite partial to the train.
ReplyDeleteMe too. It'll be back.
