Overnight the armies completed their march. Staff officers and Generals studied the ground and reviewed their strategic goals and soon aides were delivering orders for the morning.
In the morning, the Dominion's guns opened the ball with the Rebel guns soon answering.

Lovely close-up of the figures, can see Herald Union infantry, some of the best designed plastic figures for the ACW. They should have kept that range going and increased the number of designs. I've raised the Mississippi Militia using the same.

Saw them in stores and wanted them as a kid but never got them. My one box of ACW were Swoppet Rebs, oh and a mounted standard bearer. Managed to find these 3 at a flea market in the late 90's.
