To turn that lot into mamelukes, you need to plan ahead. In fact, I think you need to plan about a dozen heads. Good luck! Looking forward to seeing the results.
New heads? Nah, just new hats....and baggy trousers, those with pelisses need to trade them for vests, etc. The 1st 6 were a snap, the next 18 will get better and easier! ( He said optimistically )
I found the casting I did iyears ago very satisfying if at times also frustrating. Could I suggest adding some milliput or whatever to make the pelisses into flowing (if voluminous) cloaks?
Ed M, you wouldn't say that if you'd seen my garage 7 years ago--or handled enough wargamer's estates. Even the most harmless of life's pleasures can be overdone. But Ross Mac does a nice job of keeping things under control.
Point take, Robert, but I have culled both my library and my own collection, and (sadly) have seen what friends have left behind, It was just a fun-spirited comment in the moment.

ReplyDeleteI turned a pelisses into a short cloak last summer but a long one streaming out would look good, some arab perhaps.
DeleteBRAVO!
ReplyDeleteThe 'work' must go on!
DeleteSomebody has been busy casting !
ReplyDeleteOne good session. (Bloody cold in the back porch this time of year)
DeleteObviously, more is always better when it comes to toy soldiers.

DeleteAnd taken in that spirit. Can't stop adding so periodically, some have to go.
