C'est l'aviron qui nous mène, nous mène

Ahhh I can picture the jolly coureurs des bois, paddles flashing in the sun as they sing their hearts out, well, maybe not while on the warpath. For some reason the French & Indian War always reminds me of college. The song of the paddle quoted above is one of the ones our Drum and Bungle Band (the one in which I was forbidden to actually blow into my trumpet while on parade on pain of dire, unspecified consequences) used to practice.

This lot are Irregular picked up ?? long enough ago that I've forgotten. They look much better painted than they did as naked metal. Fitting the muskets into the hands of the firing figures was a pain.

That's just about the end of the  unpainted F&IW figures. Keep an eye on ebay if you like any of 'em.

  2. The Lost Trumpet Tapes. Yeah, that'd give a whole new meaning to the term viral.

  4. Nope no typo, just a mark of the esteem in which our fellow officer cadets held us.
